Every headlight assembly we supply is a genuine OEM part that has passed the FactorySpec™ 9-point inspection and functional testing process. The result is OEM quality, verified performance, and documented consistency — at a lower cost than new OEM.
What FactorySpec™ Certified means
FactorySpec™ is our inspection and verification standard for reconditioned OEM headlight assemblies. A unit is only listed, sold, and certified after it passes all nine categories — cosmetic, structural, optical, and electrical. Nothing is graded "close enough." A no-pass in any category removes the unit from sellable inventory.

The 9-point FactorySpec™ inspection
Each headlight assembly completes the full nine-category inspection process below. Every category is recorded as pass or no-pass on the unit's certificate.
Cosmetic Condition
Inspection of the lens and housing for scratches, scuffs, cracks, discoloration, haze, and other cosmetic imperfections.
Fitment & Structural Integrity
Verification that all mounting tabs, brackets, and attachment points are intact and free from damage or deformation for proper installation.
Lighting Function
Confirmation that all lighting functions operate correctly, including low beam, high beam, DRLs, turn signals, markers, parking lights, and any other features.
OEM Authentication
Verification that the headlight is a genuine OEM product with correct part numbers, markings, and manufacturer identifiers.
Water Intrusion (Seal Integrity)
Headlight housing is pressure-tested and inspected to ensure it is water tight with no leaks or moisture intrusion.
Light Output (Intensity)
Light output is measured with a lux meter and verified to meet OEM intensity standards for proper brightness and performance.
Beam Pattern
Beam pattern is checked to ensure proper alignment, cutoff, and distribution meet OEM specifications.
Power Draw (Electrical Load)
Power consumption is measured to ensure the headlight operates within OEM electrical load specifications.
Electrical Integrity
Inspection of all electrical connectors, pins, and wiring for damage, corrosion, and proper function to ensure electrical reliability.
Certified to meet OEM standards
A headlight assembly earns FactorySpec™ Certified status only after it has successfully passed all nine inspection categories — cosmetic, structural, optical, and electrical. Each certified assembly is confirmed to meet OEM standards for quality, performance, and reliability, and every inspection is recorded and traceable back to the individual unit in our inventory.
A no-pass result in any single category removes the assembly from certified, sellable inventory. There is no partial certification.

Common questions from carriers and shops
Are these aftermarket parts?
No. Every assembly is a genuine OEM part. OEM authentication is one of the nine required inspection categories.
How is this different from a salvage or recycled part?
Salvage assemblies are typically sold as-is with condition grading only. FactorySpec™ units are individually inspected and instrument-tested for light output, beam pattern, power draw, and seal integrity before they can be sold as certified.
What happens if a unit fails an inspection category?
A no-pass in any of the nine categories removes the unit from sellable certified inventory. Only units that pass all nine are certified.
Is the inspection traceable to the individual part?
Yes. Inspection results are recorded against the specific unit in our inventory, not just the part number.
